Goytre Wharf - Sunday 25th March 2012

A tough 8 mile walk, mostly because of testing terrain, with lots to commend it in terms of variety and views, some charming woodland paths lined with spring flowers, and a good canal path to regroup on, in the second half.  Some rather skanky 'Welshness' to some of the environment... rubbish dumped  haphazardly, farmland scruffy and unkempt, and a cafe/bar at the Wharf reminiscent of the worst of Tintern!
